We come to them, wherever they're most comfortable. We ask the questions. We listen. And we film the kind of honest, unhurried conversation that most families never quite get around to having — until it's too late.

It starts with a conversation. Tell us a little about the person whose story you want to capture — who they are, what you're hoping to preserve, and any special considerations we should know about. We'll talk through the packages, answer your questions, and make sure The Living Library is the right fit before anything else happens.
We prepare together
Once you're ready to proceed, we send you a preparation guide — a curated set of questions covering the key chapters of a life. Share these with your subject beforehand so they know what to expect. There are no surprises on film day, no pressure to perform. Just a person, their stories, and a relaxed conversation waiting to happen.
Film day
We come to them. A professional, unhurried filming session at a location where they feel most comfortable — their home, a favourite chair, a familiar room. We handle all the equipment, lighting, and direction. Your job is simply to be there if you'd like to be. Ours is to make them feel at ease and capture them at their best.
Editing and delivery
Within two weeks of filming, you'll receive a professionally edited video — colour graded, audio balanced, and cut to flow naturally from one story to the next. Depending on your package, this includes photo integration, chapter markers, and USB delivery. A finished piece your whole family can return to, share, and keep forever.
